CONTEMPORARY HOME RENOVATION AND ADDITION

Clean lines, gorgeous materials and textures, and a contemporary design are featured in this Mt. Lebanon renovation/home addition project.  This was an complete interior home demolition and reconstruction with a master suite and party deck added to the back.  This house boasts of heated floors throughout most of the living space.  Twenty feet of NanaWall doors allow acces to the large custom deck, which is built to exactly the same elevation as the interior floor level.   A near seamless transition from interior to exterior living space can be achieved with the simple turning of a knob.  Put a beautiful design together with quality materials and skilled craftsman and this is what you get.  The only thing nicer than this home are the homeowners.  What a great project!

A STUNNING LIVING ROOM

WHOLE HOUSE RENOVATION

This entire house, both the interior and exterior, were renovated prior to the client moving in to the home.  Walls were moved.  Rooms were re-defined as to their use.  Large sections of the home were gutted down to the studs.  The electric and plumbing systems were completely made over.  The porch was torn off and rebuilt.  Custom millwork, cabinetry, and other modern details were added in nearly every room.

KITCHEN ADDITION AND RENOVATION, MUD ROOM, LAUNDRY ROOM, LIVING AND DINING ROOM RENOVATION

This was a unique project in that we removed the center section of the existing house, then expanded the footprint while changing the function of the space.

WHOLE HOUSE RENOVATION

This home renovation involved every room of the house.  The structure was essentially taken down to the studs and re-built.  Custom details and finishes are found in nearly every room.

HOME RESTORATION/RENOVATION

This spectacular home was restored to its original glory while tastefully updated throughout.  While some walls were moved to create the grand kitchen area, most of the house structure, and flow, remained exactly as it was originally constructed. The kitchen(s) and baths were all completely renovated, as was the third floor- which was made into a fully independent suite.

KITCHEN RENOVATION

Every project is unique, but some more than others.  The concrete countertops, wormy chestnut with slate flooring, and rustic stone backsplash, blend together to create this warm and functional family kitchen.

This project contains many custom features.  All cabinets, as well as the arch top doors accessing the master bathroom, were custom designed and built specifically for this project.

The initial client meeting for this particular project provided Diggins Builders with only a wish for a larger and more beautiful kitchen.  The concept and design that followed was a collaboration between Diggins Builders, an independent architect, and the homeowner.  We are all proud of the finished project.

Most of the interior of this home was taken all the way down to the studs.  Mechanicals were updated, walls were rearranged, and space was redefined.  A thread of contemporary style was blended with the classic original architecture to give this home a modern, yet honest renovation.
